 Voluptuous Viognier

 

 Viognier is a white grape that if you haven't already heard of and tried, we think you will in the near future. Although until recently a rare grape confined to very small areas in the Rhone Valley, it is seeing a terrific renaissance in the vineyards of California. You should anticipate a bouquet of beautiful peach and honeysuckle fruit scents, a luscious silky mouthfeel, and quite a high alcohol content. Viognier is definitely worth a try if you are looking for something a little different.
